Blade 150 650MHz のモデルを \1,600 エンでげっちゅー！
OBP の Version が古かったので最新にしてしましょうとゆーことでつ。
Solaris 10 5/08 Update#5 までの Version であれば、今まで通り / に FlashPROM を cp する手が使えまつ。
Solaris 10 10/08 Update #6 からわ、bootblk が変更になって今までの通りの手法では update できなくなってまつ。
今回の update は、今まで通り / に FlashPROM image を cp する方法でつ。
flash prom が down できまつ。
最新版のチェックは sunsolve で check してね。
2009/07 月現在、最新の FlashProm の Patch ID は 119235-01

クリックすれば、119235-01.zip が down されまつ。
コイツで upadte すると、 OBP_4.17.1 になりまつ。
unzip してアーカイブをゆるめておいてくらさい。
あ、 sunsolv にレジストしてライセンスもっとかないと down できないかも知れないっす。
その場合は、ライセンス取っときましょうね。
先ずは、アーカイブを緩めまつ。
アーカイブが緩まると、./119235-01 ってディレクトリができてるよね？
cd してカレントにしてくらさい。
mv しても良いのでつが（w。
緩めたアーカイブの中に
prom image の file が 3 つありまつ。
実際に使うのわ、 flash-update-Blade100-Blade150-latest の 1 個だけでつ。
あ、同梱の README.119235-01 も読んでおきましょうね。
flash-prom image の cp は下記の通り。root で cp してね。
で、おk。
flash-prom image を cp したら、shutdown して Switch off してくらさい。
プロセッサ裏のネジを 2 本外してカバーを開けてくらさい。
JP2 は、IDROM 付近のエライ隅っこにありまつ。
JP2 は普段の状態は、 pin1 + pin2 が short しているのが default。prom 書き込み禁止の状態でつ。
これを、 pin2 + pin3 を short に変更して一時的に prom 書き込み許可の状態にしまつ。

JP2 は IDPROM の右側、マザーボードの端っこにありまつ。 赤矢印の先っちょね。 ケーブルの下に隠れて見難いっす。(^^;) |

さらに拡大。 変更前の pin1 + pin2 が short している default の状態でつ。 |

変更後の pin2 + pin3 が short している prom 書き込み許可の状態でつ。 prom を update した後、元の pin1 + pin2 short の状態に戻しまつ。 |
jumper をヅラしたら boot しまつ。
フタはまだ閉めないでね。
flash-prom の update が終わったら、jumper を元に戻しますゆぇに。
プロセッサを switch on したら、すぐに
を押して break してくらさい。
ok prompt が出て prom のモニタモードになりまつ。
んで、 flash-update-Blade100-Blade150-latest を指定して boot でつ。
flash-prom の file を読み込んで boot しまつ・・・

で、 Bunner の OpenBoot の Version が 4.17.1 になっていればおk。
とかしてもらって、 Switch off してね。
JP2 の jumper を pin1 + pin2 short に戻しましょう。

んで、フタを閉めて update オワリでつ。
Switch 入れたら、 OBP の Version を確認するなり、ok .version してみたりしてみてくらさい。
